An issue I have noticed as I am creating songs for the soundtrack is that sometimes I will create parts of a song or create sounds (Using programs such as Serum 2) and It won’t sound how I intended the song/whole ep sound. Since the soundtrack I am creating doesn't have original source material, it can be harder to understand the context of which my songs should follow, essentially, I should always ensure to refer to my original plan and create atmospheric music inspired by the works of Karbonic and Solar Fields.
An issue that has been persistent is blending chords effectively. With the earlier songs of the EP, the chords don't necessarily blend into each other. Once one chord ends, another begins instantly after. This ruins the atmosphere of the song. There hasn’t been a definitive way to improve this, I found that the more songs I made the easier and more natural blending chords were. This is evident when you compare the first song to the last one. The way I overcame this was simply by producing more songs. As the I created more songs the chord blending and layerering becmae less of an issue.
